About me: Dixon previously spent 4.5 years working as an M&A lawyer in Sydney, Australia at Allens Linklaters. During this time, he worked on a number of major transactions in the private equity, renewables, tech and financial services sectors. He has also completed secondments and internships at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Allen & Overy, Macquarie Bank and KPMG. Dixon holds dual degrees in Law and Commerce from the University of New South Wales.

Dixon chose to pursue an MBA at LBS to explore commercial roles, live in the cultural capital of London, develop his leadership skills and obtain a truly holistic perspective on global economic and social issues. In particular, he has a strong interest in economic development, the future of APAC, strategy and responsible business.

Dixon is part of the Executive Committee of the Running Club and is an active member of the Australia and New Zealand Club. In addition, Dixon loves movies, visiting places with no Wifi (hiking) and is looking forward to fulfilling his lifelong ambition of attending the Glastonbury Festival when it restarts post-pandemic. He is also a keen follower of the All Blacks and Arsenal FC.

Three topics I can be approached about: Career pivots/non-traditional backgrounds; recruiting for consulting; studying with a partner
