My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: GMAT

About me: I was born and raised in Lima, Peru, and studied Economics at Universidad del Pacífico. I had the chance to study for a semester in the Netherlands – this gave me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and to decide that I wanted to pursue an international career.

Upon returning to Peru I completed two internships: the first at the Central Reserve Bank of Peru and the second at Pacífico Seguros, a Peruvian insurance company. After graduating from my undergraduate studies, I returned to the Central Bank as a full-time analyst, where I worked until travelling to London to start the Masters in Financial Analysis programme at LBS. I am now looking for positions in asset management.

Aside from academics and work, I enjoy travelling, reading and trying out new types of food. At LBS, along with being a student ambassador, I am part of the Women in Business Club, Investment Management Club and LatAm Club.

Three topics I can be approached about: Life at LBS; tips for the application process; moving to London.
