My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Finishing my undergraduate degree, preparing for the GMAT and applying for internships at the same time.
About me: Born and raised in Germany and growing up with Chinese parents, I have always been immersed in two different cultures. Due to my strong interest in engineering, automotive and business, I decided to study Engineering and Business Administration at the University of Stuttgart in Germany. Stuttgart, the automotive capital of Germany, was the ideal place for me to gain internship experiences at companies such as Mercedes-Benz and Porsche Consulting. After finding my interest in consulting, I completed additional internships at Volkswagen Consulting, Thyssenkrupp Management Consulting and Kearney. To gain a more international perspective and build upon my Chinese roots, I have decided to pursue the Global Masters in Management, where I will be spending one year at LBS and one year at the School of Management, Fudan University in Shanghai. This programme provides a great opportunity to solidify the experiences I gained during my undergraduate studies and internships in a global environment.
Three topics I can be approached for: Global Masters in Management versus Masters in Management; careers in strategy consulting; moving to London.
