About me: Cristina was born and raised in Mexico City. She earned her Bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), laying the foundation for her analytical and problem-solving skills and preparing her for her career in the technology sector.
Her professional path led her to DiDi Chuxing Technology Co in Mexico City, where she took on a significant role in managing prevention initiatives across nine Latin American countries. Cristina shared her expertise with cross-functional teams across different geographies, including China and San Francisco, and played a crucial role in launching the first AI model dedicated to preventing sexual incidents in Latin America.
Driven by her aspiration to become a leader in the tech industry and foster responsible technological transformation, Cristina decided to pursue an MBA at LBS. She recognised the need to develop a well-rounded skillset, encompassing analytical, communication and leadership abilities, to excel in her chosen field. LBS, with its diverse student body and global cohort, was the perfect fit for Cristina, aligning with her values of diversity, inclusivity and a commitment to responsible leadership.
At LBS, Cristina is an active club member. Her involvement underscores her dedication to networking, learning and collaborating with like-minded peers who share her interests and career aspirations. Beyond academics, Cristina is passionate about travel and immersing herself in diverse cultures.
