About me: Azmeen was raised in Pakistan and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Business from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has nine years of experience in the financial services industry across various roles and markets, including equity research for a fund in Pakistan and balance sheet management and corporate strategy for Standard Chartered in Singapore. Most recently, Azmeen worked at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore as a director within their corporate and institutional bank (CIB) function, focusing primarily on client strategy for the financial institutions business.
Post-MBA, Azmeen hopes to pivot into strategy consulting. During her MBA, she is also looking to develop skills in impact investing through co-leading a project with the Impact Consulting Club, as well as participating in the Turner MIINT competition. In the long term, she hopes to start her own fund focused on driving investment into emerging markets.
Azmeen is actively involved in student life at LBS and is a community representative for her stream.
