About me:I hold a bachelors degree in Economics from the Prague University of Economics and Business and am a CFA Charterholder. I also completed an exchange programme at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Spain and lived in Prague for eight years.
I began my career at DXC Technology as an analyst, where I gained a strong foundation in accounting and led a small team. A year later, I transitioned into quantitative research at Moody’s Analytics, where I analysed macroeconomic trends for Australia, Russia, the Netherlands and the Eurozone. Additionally, I served as a Corporate Social Responsibility Impact Leader at the Prague office.
I then moved into consulting, joining Siemens’s corporate development team. My work involved clients from Germany, the UAE, England and Switzerland across sectors such as healthcare, industrial, infrastructure and technology. One key project involved facilitating the standalone processes for Siemens’ €3.5 billion global electrical motor and large-drive business before its sale to private equity.
In the months leading up to my move to London, I travelled to India for work, gaining valuable insights into business practices.
Before joining LBS, I delivered lectures on digitalisation in finance to students at both my alma mater and Saginaw Valley State University.
LBS’s Masters in Finance programme, with its proximity to Europe’s investment banking hub, diverse cohort and stellar reputation, was the ideal choice for me to pivot into investment banking and build my network.
Outside of academics, I enjoy reading about financial crises, playing tennis and mountaineering. My most recent climb was to Manshuk Mametova Lake in Kazakhstan, reaching 3,550 metres. My long-term goal is to summit Mount Everest.
Three topics I can be approached about: Tennis; mountaineering; economics.
