My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Juggling my full-time job with GMAT preparation.
About me: After receiving my undergraduate degree from UCL, I became involved in my family’s business, a primary lender providing financial solutions to businesses, investors and developers. There, I acquired significant expertise in loan operations, financial analysis and strategic decision-making. I managed client relationships and navigated commercial problems, refining my expertise in risk management and business growth.
My decision to apply to LBS was motivated by my aspiration to enhance my leadership abilities and augment my knowledge in global company strategy and management. I was offered a prestigious scholarship, enabling me to complete my masters within an amazing and diversified network of peers and industry experts while expanding my knowledge in corporate finance and strategic management.
I have consistently prioritised participation in extracurricular activities aimed at leadership development and networking. At LBS, I am actively involved in the Family Business Club, Consulting Club and Real Estate Club, where I interact with colleagues on new initiatives.
Upon the completion of the Masters in Management, I hope to pursue employment in the consulting sector to acquire a more comprehensive understanding of advanced business strategies and global financial markets. I intend to leverage these new skills in my family business to enhance operational efficiency, drive growth and broaden our services to new markets.
Three topics I can be approached for: How to create a strong business school application; how to balance a full-time job with GMAT prep; life as a business school Masters in Management student.
