About me: Ahmed graduated from The American University in Cairo with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He kicked off his career in the oil and gas industry as a field engineer in drilling services for Baker Hughes. Driven by a deep passion for business management, he then decided to pivot into industry and consulting. Throughout his eight years working for different organisations such as EY and Majid Al Futtaim in MENA, he has been engaged in large-scale transformations and strategy cases across real estate, retail, entertainment, government, non-profits, healthcare and fintech. Ahmed also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Ahmed’s pursuit of a global perspective and personal development led him to pursue his MBA at LBS. Since joining, he’s been an active community member, serving as an Academic Representative to his peers and the Student Association’s Alumni and Careers team. He also co-led a transformative impact consulting project, working closely with a non-profit based in London that supports families with young children.
Beyond academia and work, Ahmed and his wife share a passion for exploring new cultures and travelling. He’s also an avid football enthusiast and is taking full advantage of London’s vibrant football scene.
