The MFA draws students from more than 37 nationalities and is led by faculty from 30+ countries. Some 94% of MFA students are international. The result is that you gain global exposure, a broadened perspective and a world-class multi-cultural business network.


On graduation you join a global network of alumni spanning more than 44,000 executives and 155 countries.

How you shape your early career is critical. Our Career Centre guides you step by step, providing the tools to ensure your job search is as effective as it is focused. Through coaching, mock interview sessions, lectures and online training you will gain the skills and confidence to make an impression when it most matters. The impact of this is clear to see – 96% of MFA2017 graduates accepted an offer of employment within three months of graduation.

 A world class programme

London Business School is a world leader in balancing rigorous theoretical learning with real-world business skills development. The MFA gives you mastery of a broad spectrum of key concepts in finance, accounting and economics – from corporate finance to financial econometrics – so you have a deep understanding of theory. Hands-on learning means you translate that theory into practice. Global Immersion Field Trips and London Business Week Challenge expose you to real-world issues and the complex dynamics of international finance. You emerge with the understanding and business-ready skills and mind-set to make immediate impact, wherever in the world your career takes you.


You can also customise your learning to your objectives and specific interests. You will choose three elective subjects from a selection of the cross-school portfolio. Here you will work alongside peers from Master of Management programme, as we well as more experienced students from the MBA, Masters in Finance, Sloan and Executive MBA programmes. You build a diverse, world-class international business network for life.

 Optional fourth term

You can extend your MFA to a fourth term and take three additional elective courses or go on an international exchange with a top business school to deepen your understanding and international experience. The option to take a fourth term is contingent on your career track, and is subject to additional fees.
