The Career Centre team will be a vital contact point during your MBA. This session is an opportunity for you to meet members of the MBA Career Centre team and hear what the team does to support our students. There will also be a live Q&A session where you can ask the team any questions you may have.
Join our MBA student ambassadors as they share information about their LBS experience so far and give you the opportunity to ask questions. In this informal session, you will be allocated to a breakout room to chat with current students and to meet fellow admits. Please note that this session will be delivered twice, to cater to different time zones (Tue 8 Dec, 17.00 - 18.00 GMT and Fri 11 Dec, 08.45 - 09.45 GMT).
In this session, members of the Women in Business (WiB) community and ambassadors join a panel to discuss the club’s motivations, their business school experience and the challenges and celebrations of being female in the business world. After the panel you will have the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers and our Recruitment & Admissions representatives.
Join students from across our Degree Education programmes who sit on the Student Association (SA) as they share their experiences, advice, tips, and tricks. There will be a panel discussion, Q&A session and networking in breakout rooms with current students and fellow admits (bring a drink for a casual chat in small groups). This is your chance to experience the MBA classroom. Our world-renowned Professor of Marketing, Simona Botti, will give you a taste of what you can look forward to during lectures on the MBA. Expect an interactive session with a lively debate, combined with theory and practical application.
Professor Botti joined London Business School in 2007 after two years as Assistant Professor of Marketing at the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University. She received an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, and a MBA and PhD in Marketing from the University of Chicago.
Professor Botti teaches the Brand Management elective and co-directs (with David Faro) the open enrolment Executive Education course Strategic Branding: From Behavioural Insight to Business Growth. In 2017, she received the MBA Best Teacher Award and the London Business School Excellence in Teaching Award. Professor Botti’s research focuses on consumer behaviour and decision making, with particular emphasis on the psychological processes underlying perceived personal control and how exercising control (freedom of choice, power, information) influence consumers’ satisfaction and well-being.
This session is an opportunity for you to find out more about the LBS MBA journey and meet some of the individuals that will support you throughout your studies at LBS. You will discover more about the exciting and challenging academic programme that makes up the LBS MBA, from Orientation and Core Courses to Electives and more. Delve in to the programme content, with members of the MBA Programme Office team on hand to answer your questions.
What does a typical day and week look like for a London Business School MBA student? This session is delivered by student ambassadors on their second year of the MBA and will provide insight into the MBA experience from those living it. We won’t give you too much more information here to avoid spoilers.
Founded in 2020, Black in Business (BiB) is striving to cultivate an environment that promotes the representation, wellbeing and advancement of Black professionals in business. In this session, founding members of BiB will introduce themselves and tell you about their motivation for setting up the club, the importance of allies, and their ambitions for the club’s future, followed by an informal networking session.
In this session, members of the Out in Business (OiB) community will discuss the club’s motivations, their business school experience and the challenges and celebrations of being LGBTQ+ in the business world. After the panel you will have the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers and our Recruitment & Admissions representatives.
Meet our alumni community in your region and hear more about their LBS experience and what it means to be an LBS alumnus. These will be small informal sessions scheduled throughout the day, where you will have the opportunity to chat with alumni and fellow admits. The Student Association represents students' interests and concerns, runs social events and supports our clubs. SA officers are elected by, and for, students. Representatives sit on a number of School committees, ensuring student interests are taken into account in any senior management decision process. Each year the SA brings the LBS community together for a series of celebratory events including the multicultural festival Tattoo and the Summer Ball.
