Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship
Dr Sarath Balachandran holds a PhD from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on inter-firm collaboration, global strategy and innovation, with a specific interest in understanding how collaborative relationships between firms can enable (or indeed constrain) innovation. In examining these issues, Dr Balachandran focuses on how firms’ strategies and outcomes are shaped by the backgrounds and motivations of its employees as well as the characteristics of the institutional environment. Prior to obtaining his PhD he worked for Unilever in North America and in the UK.
