Amy Bradley
Guest lecturer of Organisational Behaviour
Professor, speaker, researcher, author and member of the prestigious Thinkers50 Radar of global management thinkers, Dr Amy Bradley specialises in positive psychology and engagement at work, notably compassion, team engagement and burnout. She works with leaders to build trust and engagement and to generate positive momentum and motivation in themselves and their teams in times of transition and change. Her research has been published in outlets including Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Management Today, HR Director and the BBC.
Her first book, The Human Moment, was longlisted for management book of the year. In it, she argues that organisations must find ways of becoming more compassionate in an age where our work is increasingly dehumanised. Her second book, Running on Empty (co-authored with Katherine Semler, Senior Partner at Korn Ferry) was shortlisted for leadership book of the year in 2023 and is a story-based exploration of overwhelm and burnout at work. Dr Bradley's latest research is entitled Walking Ourselves Well. Drawing on the fields of well-being and ecopsychology, the research seeks to explore ways in which we can heal our relationship with ourselves, each other and the Earth when we step away from technology and from work and engage in a regular practice of walking.
Over the past 15 years, Amy has designed and run leadership development programmes for global leaders across industries including media; entertainment; technology; professional services; pharmaceuticals; energy; finance; NGOs; healthcare and retail. Amy is also a trained executive and team coach.
