Originally from Zawia, Libya, Moaad moved to the UK at an early age, where eventually he studied Economics at the University of Leeds.
Soon after graduation Moaad joined the graduate program at Standard Chartered Bank, based in Dubai, UAE where he completed rotations and training in Financial Markets and Corporate Finance and Private Equity in Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, and London.
After completing the graduate program, Moaad joined the Investment Banking Department covering Financial Institutions based out of Singapore. Moaad currently works in London, still covering financial institutions. Moaad joined the Masters in Finance programme in order to further broaden his financial knowledge.
Moaad's ambition is to work in the Energy space within emerging markets region, specifically the MENA region, and continue his charity work with the International Literacy Foundation. Moaad has been consistently impressed by the high quality and standards of the students, faculty, and facilities of London Business School. He has joined various clubs such as the Energy Club, PE/VC Club as well as the Middle East Club.
