LBS launches new Ignite Series

London Business School kicks off its Ignite Series on 5 October, promising to spark new thinking with some of the brightest minds, in short, practical live online and interactive programmes. Newly created in response to emerging challenges facing businesses and individuals in 2020, the series is topical and relevant, offering access to renowned faculty on insight-led business thinking.
“At a time when businesses and their people need it most, we’re proud to have responded quickly with a high value, industry-leading series of lively interactive programmes,” said Julian Birkinshaw, Faculty Advisor, Executive Education. “This is accelerated learning at its best.”
Participants will learn from world-class faculty (see below) in live interactive real-time sessions as well as being able to connect and share with a global online cohort through breakout rooms for peer networking and personal coaching. Upon completion of the programme, participants will be awarded a London Business School digital certificate.
From September to November 2020, London Business School Ignite Series features the following topical subjects and leading faculty:
- Becoming Exceptional – Dan Cable
- Crisis Economics for Leaders – Paolo Surico, Andrea Galeotti and others
- Achieving Strategic Agility – Marcus Alexander
- Crisis Leadership and Human Behaviour – David Faro and Niro Sivanathan
- The Future of Work - Preparing for the workplace revolution– Lynda Gratton
- Humanocracy – How to Hack Management – Gary Hamel
- Women in Business – Herminia Ibarra and Kathleen O’Connor
“The Ignite Series brings together everything we know about learning and virtual learning, with innovative formats and structures designed for today’s technologies and behaviours,” said Julian.
“Apart from individuals, we’re also encouraging pairs and groups from the same organisation to sign up together, to boost knowledge of the specialist subject within their business. The format means that learning can be achieved from anywhere in the world, so it can even bring together disconnected colleagues and departments.”
