My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Preparing for the GMAT/GRE.
About me: Looking back on my journey, which started in my home country of Benin and led me to London, I can say that my background is pretty unconventional.
I initially studied medicine as I wanted to become a healthcare professional. After a while, I realised that it wasn’t the best path for me and I decided to pursue business as it would allow me to be exposed to a wide range of potential careers.
During my bachelors degree at ESSEC Business School, I was able to gain experience through internships in consulting, tech and corporate banking. After those four years, I wanted to sharpen my managerial skillset and be immersed in an international environment.
On top of its status as a leading institution, I was especially drawn to LBS because of its emphasis on building a diverse community. Joining LBS gave me lifelong access to a network of outstanding individuals who are driven by the values of cooperation and excellence.
Outside of academics, I am a sports enthusiast and particularly love playing basketball and football.
Three topics I can be approached for: The application process; student life; visa applications.
