About me: Saumya is a digital strategy consultant with a background in user experience design, innovation and advertising. In her previous role at Deloitte Digital, she combined her love for human psychology with her creative skills and understanding of technology to design intuitive websites and apps for clients in banking and oil and gas. Prior to that, she created technological alliances between Deloitte and around 300 startups from India’s thriving startup ecosystem, coordinating advertising strategy for leading American brands at US-based advertising agency Heat.
Saumya has worked across the US, Australia and India. She has lived in 10 countries and speaks four languages.
She was drawn to LBS by its diversity of cultures and perspectives and by the opportunity to fully tailor her learning. At LBS, she serves as an academic representative for her stream of 85 students.
Following her MBA, Saumya is eager to pivot into the technology and media industries, working for multicultural customers.
In her free time, Saumya enjoys studying classical Indian dance and exploring the UK and Europe. She volunteers towards social causes related to empowering women and disadvantaged communities through skill-based workshops in her home country, India.
