Nina Ebel (she/her)

Education: Bachelors, University of Mannheim, Germany; graduated in 2023

Subject: Business Administration

Sector(s) of interest: Technology (AI and Cloud)

My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Figuring out whether I fit into the LBS community and whether it could help me achieve my dreams.

About me: Prior to LBS, I earned a BSc in Business Administration at the University of Mannheim, with a semester abroad at Tsinghua University in Beijing.

I have experience working across different sectors and regions, including my role as a two-year Channel Sales Intern at VMware and my internship at the Chilean-German Chamber of Commerce in Santiago de Chile. I am passionate about the educational sector and helping others, which led me to tutor students in my free time and work as a student manager for Masters in Management Prep, where I guide prospective students through their business school applications.

In addition to my professional experiences, I am a huge startup enthusiast. I was actively involved in the entrepreneurship club ‘thinc! e.V.’ at my previous university where I led over 600 students and immersed myself in the startup world. Talking to like-minded students and successful business founders is something I would recommend to anyone interested in the field. It teaches you not only about the industry but also a lot about yourself.

Looking ahead, I aim to pursue a career in the tech sector, particularly focusing on AI and innovation.

Three topics I can be approached for: General questions regarding the application process; my own experience at LBS (academic, student clubs, networking); questions regarding my previous experiences
