About me: Prior to London Business School, Matías was a venture capital manager and senior investment analyst at Consorcio, one of the biggest financial holdings in Chile, where he worked for more than six years. His experience includes the transport, telecommunications, fintech, insurance and banking sectors, where he developed his thoroughness in research, making recommendations to Consorcio‘s board.
Before joining Consorcio, Matías graduated with a BSc in Business Administration from Universidad de Chile in Santiago, his hometown. To deepen financial literacy and further professional development, he also studied the Chartered Financial Analyst programme with the CFA Institute.
Studying the Masters in Finance at LBS, Matías aims to leverage his financial acumen and previous investment experience to transition into the investment banking and private equity industries.
In his free time, Matías enjoys playing football, tennis and golf and outdoor activities such as trekking.
