Bio:
Milind is an empirical researcher who works in climate risk and sustainability. He applies deep learning and econometric techniques on big and alternative data to address questions around these themes.
His work has been selected in several conferences, such as the SFD Cavalcade, ESG Investing Research Conference at Cornell, INFORMS Annual Meeting, BS4CL Climate Leadership Research Conference at IESE, Conference on Ageing and Sustainable Finance at ZEW, and the Workshop on Unstructured Data and Language Models at Michigan Ross.
Milind has also served as a senior consultant for data analytics and investment management organisations. He was awarded the Founder’s Award by the LBS Innovation and Entrepreneurship and selected as a Young Leader by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Center of Real Estate). In his free time, Milind likes to sketch and practice karate. He still holds his professional license from his undergraduate studies in architectural design, a fact endearingly exploited by his colleagues.
