My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: How to best illustrate my differences based on past internships and extracurricular activities.

About me: Currently, I have settled on a career in investment banking and am actively pursuing a summer internship in London and Hong Kong offices.

In past internships, I have worked as a part-time analyst at Bain & Company, summer analyst intern at CICC’s investment banking division and an off-cycle intern at CITIC Capital and TPG. I embrace all career possibilities and have also worked in related areas, including consulting, IBD and private equity.

In extracurricular activities, I successfully executed an LGBT night-running event at my undergraduate university and I am very interested in topics about suppressed minority rights. Additionally, I held the 14th Alumni Gathering Anniversary for the most elite finance club at university and successfully secured my next internship through networking at the event.

Three topics I can be approached about: Moving to London; a career in the UK; women in investment banking.
