Learning another language is an important part of becoming a global citizen. On our MBA you can choose to extend your cultural understanding and reach by learning a language of interest alongside your peers.
Business leaders who are fluent in one or more languages are increasingly important assets to their companies. Although language study is an optional element of the programme, we recommend competency in at least one language other than English when you graduate, particularly if you want to work in a specific region or country.
Select a language of interest to you from a choice of nine: French, Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, Portuguese, German, Italian, Japanese and Russian. Languages on offer reflect the demographic profile of the MBA class, allowing you to practice without leaving campus. Languages are also selected based on post-programme career destinations, so they are relevant to your future career.
Why stop there? Take the opportunity to study a third, fourth or fifth language, like many of our other students.
Learn at the Modern Language Centre at King's College London, our language learning provider. King’s has enjoyed an outstanding reputation in modern languages education since it was established in 1829.
You can also choose to study a language independently or combine independent learning with formal language study.
