If you hold professional accounting qualifications, or if you have a Masters degree in economics, you may request to opt out of the Accounting or Economics core courses. However, the experience that each student brings to the classroom is a vital part of the learning achieved on the programme, and therefore attendance through every core course is encouraged. Waivers are judged on a case-by-case basis.
