Selin Göksel

Selin is a PhD candidate in Marketing at London Business School. She conducts research in judgment and decision making and she is interested in understanding how consumers make decisions about their health and well-being. The primary area of her research explores psychological, social, and emotional factors that influences people’s decisions about health-related issues. In addition, Selin also conducts research in impression management. Specifically, she investigates how consumers behave when they experience self-conscious emotions and how they are perceived by others. Selin has a background is in Economics in which she holds B.A. from Boğaziçi University in Turkey and a M.Sc. degree from Toulouse School of Economics in France. Earlier in her career, she had experience in management consulting. Besides her work, Selin enjoys dancing tango, traveling, and meeting friends and family across the world.
