London Business School has been ranked number one internationally for its two year MBA programme by Forbes, for the fourth time in a row.

London Business School delivered the strongest return on investment of all schools in the two year MBA ranking.

Forbes’ ninth biennial ranking of business schools is based solely on the return on investment achieved by graduates from the class of 2010. It compared the alumni earnings in their first five years out of business school to their opportunity cost (two years of compensation, tuition and required fees).

The class of 2010 started at London Business School with a median salary of $78,000 and last year earned $210,000 in total compensation. The five-year gain for LBS is the highest of any two-year MBA program in the world. The five-year MBA gain was $102,100 with students earning back their investment of tuition and foregone salary in 3.7 years on average.

“To see London Business School recognised consistently as the top international business school is extremely compelling. On graduation, our students are well placed not only to work anywhere in the world but also to command highly competitive salaries that will stand them in good stead for the rest of their careers. We’re delighted to be named as the number one international business school”, said Erica Hensens, Programme Director, MBA, London Business School.

Of the class of 2010, 91% secured a job within three months of graduation. London Business School’s MBA students’ top five employers last year were McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, Amazon, Bain and Citi and between them they hired nearly a quarter of the graduating class of 2014.

London Business School is also highlighted by Forbes as one of the most geographically diverse schools in the ranking, with 88% of its 2016 class coming from overseas. The School draws 37% of its 2016 class from Europe, 24% from Asia and 17% from North America.
