Vinod grew up in Malaysia. He graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff, UK, having been awarded a government scholarship. He trained as a hospital physician and worked for the National Health Service for five years. During this time he participated in patient care delivery and undertook clinical research. Vinod also contributed to charity work, raising funds for the crisis in Sri Lanka. This extra-curricular participation lent him the motivation to seek a platform to improve healthcare operations and management. He chose to come to London Business School based on its excellent reputation and truly global student body. Currently, Vinod is the PR and Communications Co-chair for the Health Care Club and is involved in organising LBS's flagship Global Healthcare Conference. Vinod enjoys art, live music and fine dining. As an advocate of mindfulness in the development of leadership, Vinod believes in utilising precise thinking to identify and capture opportunities.
