My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Defining my short-term goal
About me: I was born and raised in Bangladesh and I completed my undergraduate degree from University of Dhaka, where I pursued my BSc in Botany. It was during my final year of undergrad that I discovered my passion for business, specifically entrepreneurship. I worked on 'KriShop', a business idea based on building sustainable communities by utilising rooftop space for gardening. KriShop marked a pivotal turning point in my life, shedding light on gaps in my understanding of business and entrepreneurship, pushing me to apply to London Business School, to solidify my understanding of business.
The transition from Botany to Business may have felt like a leap of faith at the time, but it has undoubtedly proven to be the best decision I have made so far. While my previous experiences played a significant role in shaping who I am today, London Business School has broadened my horizons, helping me to discover opportunities I would not have encountered within my comfort zone. I love how learning at LBS extends beyond the classroom, offering continuous growth for those committed to becoming better versions of themselves.
