Ramon majored in Economics at Tecnológico de Monterrey. After finishing his studies he joined the Central Bank of Mexico as a Securities Market Analyst. In this role he learned about the characteristics of domestic debt and equity issuers as well as major institutional investors. After two years in this department he moved to the Financial Planning Department, where he performed Economic and Financial Forecasts in order to manage the Central Bank’s Cash Flow Strategy.
He decided to study at London Business School because he wanted to enhance his knowledge about Securities Markets, but he also wanted an environment where he could further develop his teamwork and leadership capabilities. In his spare time he enjoys jogging and reading crime novels. He is currently part of the Investment Management, Finance, LatAm and Energy clubs.
