Gary Dushnitsky

Gary Dushnitsky is Deputy Dean (Degree Education) and Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at London Business School. He also serves as a Senior Fellow at the Mack Institute for Innovation Management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His work focuses on the intersection of entrepreneurship, strategy and innovation, exploring the shifting landscape of entrepreneurial finance through topics such as corporate venture capital, crowdfunding, accelerators, and intellectual property rights. His research examines corporate strategy in knowledge industries and has appeared in leading academic journals including Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, and Nature Biotechnology.

Professor Dushnitsky serves as Consulting-Editor of the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and prior to that served as a Senior Editor at Organization Science. In addition to his academic work, he serves on advisory boards and also advises corporations in the Financial Industry, FMCG, and Pharma sectors on a host of corporate venturing issues.

He holds a BA and MSc from Tel Aviv University and a PhD from New York University. He has received several academic distinctions, including the 2013 Strategic Management Society Emerging Scholar Award, the 2009 Kauffman Junior Faculty Fellowship, and multiple best dissertation prizes.
