Robin Klein

Trained as an industrial engineer, Robin Klein began his career as an entrepreneur with a £2,500 loan from his grandfather. He built his entrepreneurial experience by creating and selling a series of companies from the 1970s on.
Among his more recent highlights as an entrepreneur are co-founding a consumer data company in 1993 that was sold for £16 million in 1998, selling Innovations to the Burton Group for £45 million in 1997 and founding fashion portal Zoom for Arcadia in March 1999 and then selling 50% for £15 million in August of the same year. Since turning to investment, he has become one of the best-regarded investors in the market.
