Abstract

This case is written as part of a two-case series. It may be used in a course or short programme on (marketing) strategy/micro-economics/organisational behaviour/supply chain strategy. Because the case contains substantial amount of industry structure information, it can be used as an industry analysis case. The distribution crisis illustrated in the case can also be used for courses in supply chain strategy. The various negotiations between the Pazgas and its retailers can be adapted for practice material for multiple-parties negotiations and renegotiations of existing contracts.
