Fees for entry in 2010

Tuition fees for the Masters in Management programme starting September 2010 are £22,550.

If you are offered a place on the full-time Masters in Management programme, you will be given a specific date to accept the offer. If you accept, you pay a Commitment Fee of £1,500 then a Reservation Fee of £6,000. Both the Commitment Fee and the Reservation Fee are non-refundable and will be deducted from the total tuition fees. The fee deadlines are as follows:

What's covered by the fees?

Fees for the Masters in Management programme include:

  • Tuition
  • Course materials for the entire Masters in Management programme (excluding text books)
  • A contribution to the London Business School Students Association.

Note that fees do not include living expenses or books and you will need to possess a laptop for the duration of the programme.

Scholarships

The School has a limited number of scholarships available for Masters in Management students. Scholarships available to MiM2011 students include:

Annual Funds 
Open to all MiM2011 Admits who:

  • Can demonstrate academic and extra-curricular achievements
  • Display the ability to fully contribute to the Masters in Management programme and to the London Business School community
  • May demonstrate that they have financial needs.

Awards: Each Annual Fund will amount from £3,750 up to £7,500. We expect to award up to 15 Annual Funds to MiM2011 candidates.    
Application format: Only candidates who have received an offer of a place in the class will be considered for an Annual Fund. They will need to apply within a specific deadline by writing two essays (800 words max.) illustrating why the Scholarship Committee should consider them for this award.

Celia Atkin Avent Scholarship
The Celia Atkin Avent Scholarship is intended to attract and retain exceptionally gifted and talented British women onto the Masters in Management programme at London Business School.
Open to all MiM2011 female Admits who:

  • Can demonstrate academic and extra-curricular achievements
  • Display the ability to fully contribute to the Masters in Management programme and to the London Business School community
  • May demonstrate that they have financial needs
  • Hold a British Passport.

Awards:  2x £10,950
Application format: Only British female candidates who have received an offer of a place in the class will be eligible for this award. They will need to apply within a specific deadline by writing essays illustrating why the Scholarship Committee should consider them for this award.

London Business School's estimate of minimum living costs for the 2010/11 academic year is £1,000 per month. However, be aware that this can only be a very general estimate as how much you spend is up to you and London can be as inexpensive or costly as your individual tastes dictate.

Accommodation

Accommodation costs in particular can vary. London Business School does not provide student accommodation on campus; however there are a number of places available exclusively to our students at accommodation halls around London. Details of these halls and how to apply will be provided once you have been made an offer to the programme.
