Programme Structure
Full-time format: overview
In the first term, you complete the four core courses. Terms two and three cover the six to eight electives. Practical modules for concentrations are also covered in term three. Work on the team project starts early in term two, though much of it is carried out over the Easter break. The project must be completed by late May.
A typical week on the full-time programme consists of:
- about 12 contact teaching hours
- at least 30 hours a week studying on your own or as a part of study groups (though most participants put in even more time).

Weekend format: overview
Year one: Introduction week (one week of full-time attendance) - complete the PAD programme and build on your knowledge of accounting and statistics. For the 2011 intake this will run from Monday 12 - Saturday 17 September inclusive (to be confrmed).
You take all three core courses in your first academic year, attending on alternate weekends - Friday evening + Saturday until 15.30 amounting to a total of 18 weekends in your first academic year. In the second academic year, you complete the remaining degree requirements by taking six to eight electives. Some electives run in a block-week format and require attendance from 09.00 - 17.00, Monday to Friday for one week; some run on Saturdays too.
Most of the work on the project is completed over the summer at the end of the first academic year. Final project submission date is mid-December.
