Teaching and learning

Throughout the Executive MBA, you will be exposed to a variety of teaching styles and techniques. The majority of teaching is in the form of structured lectures, facilitated by a faculty member and driven by class discussions and case study analysis.

Faculty

Whether you choose to fcus your study in London or Dubai, you will benefit from the same high quality teaching - with London Business School faculty flying out to Dubai to deliver core courses and electives.

Study group

Collaborative learning is an important part of the learning process at London Business School, so there is a strong emphasis on group work and class participation. At the start of the programme, you will be allocated a study group of five to six exceptional and diverse fellow students. Working as part of a study group enables you to benefit fully from the programme, manage your commitments more easily and develop self-awareness and team skills.

The three residential modules studied in London - when the London and Dubai streams come together - offer a further opportunity to grow and build your networks with the wider School community.

Assessment

Executive MBA courses are assessed using some or all of the following tools:

• Individual projects/essays/reports
• Examinations (closed book exam and/or take home exam)
• Class participation
• Group assignments/reports
• Class presentations

London Business School is a graduate school of the University of London. Upon graduation our Executive MBA students attain a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from London Business School, the same qualification as our full-time MBA students.
