The Governing body
The Governing Body is responsible for the governance of the School. It addresses the major issues relating to the School's development and work, such as financial planning, approving accounts and appointing the Dean.
There are currently vacancies on the Governing Body. If you are interested in these vacancies or would like further information on the Governing Body's work please contact Richard Frost, the School Secretary at rfrost@london.edu
Three additional bodies contribute to the smooth running of the rest of the School:
- Management Board
- Global Advisory Council
- International Alumni Council
The Management Board:
- advises the Dean and Governing Body on major School policies affecting programmes and research activities, staff, premises and finance
Global Advisory Council
The School's Global Advisory Council (GAC) is a pre-eminent body of distinguished leaders from around the globe. Acting as ambassadors for the School, they support initiatives and activities to enhance the School's global profile.
The International Alumni Council:
- represents the views of alumni within the context of relations programmes
- makes recommendations on a range of issues to the School's Governing Body
