What kind of people is the Programme aimed at?
The Masters in Management is for recent graduates with little or no work experience (typically 0-1 years).
Students will have an undergraduate degree, althoug this may be in a discipline other than business. Students ideally will have excelled in a non-academic area such as sports or the arts, or shown their leadership potential in community activities.
Students on the programme are dynamic, motivated and keen to build a strong foundation for a career in business.
What kind of career does the Masters in Management prepare people for?
Students are typically recruited for early-career roles and graduate schemes in industry, banks, consultancies and other large organisations.
Do Masters in Management students need work experience, or can they join the programme straight from university?
The Masters in Management is different from other London Business School programmes in that it's designed specifically for those with little or no work experience.
How much does the Masters in Management cost?
The total entry fee for the programme beginning August 2009 is £21,900. This includes the full 11 months of tuition and course materials.
Do students need to be able to speak English?
Yes. All students on the programme need to be fluent in English. If their first language is not English they may need to prove their fluency unless:
- their degree (minimum two years) was conducted exclusively in English
- they have lived or worked in an English-speaking country for at least two years since graduation.
