Faculty Positions

London Business School's Strategic and Entrepreneurship (SE) subject area is inviting applications for tenure-track and tenured positions starting in the 2015-2016 academic year.

Our SE faculty are required to teach on our MBA, MSc, PhD and Executive Education programmes and to conduct original research of exceptionally high quality.

Applicant requirements:

  • A PhD
  • A strong record of published research, or pipeline in the case of junior level applicants, in leading academic journals. 
  • A strong teaching record for senior applicants or evidence of good teaching for junior applicants

Research Support Staff Position

Research Associate

London Business School is a leading international centre of education and research. The Strategy and Entrepreneurship Area is seeking to recruit a Research Associate. The post will be under the direction of Professor Isabel Fernandez-Mateo.

 

The research associate will be involved in several research projects with faculty across the area. Most of these projects use confidential field data from a number of domains in Strategy, Entrepreneurship Labour market research. The post holder will help with various aspects of research, including study design, data collection and cleaning, and statistical analysis.

 

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in social science, engineering, statistics and/or computer science and have the ability to collect, clean, analyse and write up data fully. They should also have some experience in recording and maintaining data and in conducting academic research. A background in programming for data analysis and ability to code in Stata are required.

 

The post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of 2 years, with a salary circa £30,000 per annum including London weighting - depending upon relevant qualifications and experience. The ideal starting date is December 2014 with some flexibility.
