It’s amazing what we still don’t know about entrepreneurship. Though there has been extensive academic research on the subject, questions abound. What motivates entrepreneurial behaviour? Why are some individuals more entrepreneurial than others? What types of institutional environments are more conducive to entrepreneurial behaviour? To assess what the most current literature reveals about entrepreneurs, here’s a quick survey. I will credit all my sources following a general sweep of the research I’ve scanned.
