BA and MA (Boston University)
Richard Zeng is a first-year PhD student of Accounting at London Business School. Prior to joining LBS, he obtained both a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from Boston University within four years.
During his undergraduate career, he was a student research assistant in the Accounting department. Specifically, he worked on a project that studied the effects of the American Job Creations Act of 2004 on innovation of U.S. multinational firms. He was also involved in a project on competition of the iOS platform in the Strategy & Innovation department.
Regarding accounting research, he is particularly interested in networks and accounting fraud; however, he is open-minded to other different topics. Besides academia, his passions are traveling, weight training and playing the piano.
