Our Sloan MSc brings profound career benefits whether you are progressing into a more senior leadership role within your existing organisation, or looking to make a career move post-programme. Recent Sloan Fellows have accelerated their career from marketing director to CEO, from MD in an established company to co-founder of a start-up, and shifted from a senior finance role to charity chief executive.
We recognise that your experience, background and aspirations are unique and the School’s dedicated Career Centre team is available to support you in making strategic career decisions to help lay foundations for long-term career decisions.
Acquire a solid grounding in the tools, frameworks and analytical skills to effectively lead change and drive the performance of your organisation. During terms one and two you will cover: Executive Leadership, Understanding Top Management, Managing People and Organisations, Strategy, Marketing, Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, Management Accounting for Performance Measurement, Global Business Environment and Biography.
During terms two and three you complete between five and eight electives, depending on your preferred workload, from a choice of more than 70 courses. Shape your elective timetable to either continue intensive learning or integrate your electives with your return to the workplace.
Examine a particular regional economy and the factors contributing to its development and success. In 2017, Sloan Fellows will travel to Silicon Valley, USA.
Integrate theory and practice and apply it to an organisational or industry issue. Examples of previous topics include the growth of social networking sites and the implications for marketers, a business plan for a new mobile telecoms company and achieving prosperity in post-conflict Chechnya.

Choose from a selection of key leadership and career development skills workshops as you progress through the Sloan programme. Your choice will be driven by competency-based assessments and one-to-one sessions with trained coaches.
