Personal Development Programme

 

We work closely with top international recruiters to pinpoint the critical skills that employers demand. You develop a comprehensive portfolio of business-ready, practical skills across three critical areas: interpersonal, numerical data, and digital literacy. The programme builds strength in competencies like online branding, professional presentation, business writing, impact and influence, excel and modelling. And you have access to a further suite of flexible options so that you can tailor the experience to your own specific needs and aspirations.

 

Career Treks

 

Widen your horizons and explore how business is done in a range of different industries and locations. Organised in collaboration with student clubs and the Career Centre, career treks give you a unique opportunity to learn about the sectors that interest you most. Take a deep dive into industry in Switzerland with visits to Nestle, Schindler, Amcor, BOBST and Kuehne & Nagel. Or explore the tech trek to experience first-hand the dynamics of digital disruption in Silicon Valley. Company visits have previously included Airbnb, Dropbox, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Tesla Motors and Twitter.

 

Company engagement

 

Gain exposure to leading finance, consulting and blue-chip companies at recruitment, training and development events – both on campus and at company sites throughout the year. Companies that collaborate with Career Centre include: Amazon, Amex, Boston Consulting Group, J.P. Morgan, McKinsey, Procter & Gamble, Google and IBM.
