Chris is a PhD student in Management Science and Operations. His primary interests are at the interface of operations and finance, specifically on the impact of financial frictions on the operational decisions of non-profit organizations. His current research looks at non-profit contracting (impact bonds) for development projects and at how hospitals manage financial distress. Additionally, Chris’ research includes work in trade credit insurance as well as portfolio optimization.
He holds masters’ degrees in statistics and computer science from the George Washington University and bachelors’ degrees in economics, biochemistry, and Asian studies from Dartmouth College.
