Part-time Masters in Finance to be taught on alternate weekends from September 2009
The School is pleased to announce that the part-time Masters in Finance programme will be changing its teaching format from the current two evenings per week to alternate weekends (Friday evening and Saturday), beginning with the September 2009 intake.
The decision to move to the new weekend format is a result of last year's thorough curriculum review of the programme, consultation with stakeholder groups, and is in response to changes in the financial services industry and work practices in general.
Estrella Frutos, Programme Director for the Masters in Finance said "This is an exciting new development which will better align the programme to the demands of the current business environment and the financial services industry. As an added bonus, the new format will allow us to expand our market beyond Greater London. For the first time, it will be feasible for finance professionals based in other parts of the UK or Europe to attend the programme, thus enriching the classroom experience for all."
