The London Business School/Columbia Business School Executive MBA (EMBA-Global) programme has claimed fourth spot in the annual Financial Times Executive MBA ranking.

The EMBA-Global programme, run in partnership with Columbia Business School, has held its position in the top five for the tenth year running.

The rankings are based on an alumni survey of various measures, including career progression, how the programme lived up to expectations and percentage salary increase three years after graduation. The programme scored strongly on aims achieved (83%), the quality of our faculty research (ranked sixth) and the percentage salary increase three years after graduation (72%).

The School’s EMBA programme has moved six places up the ranking to 19th. The programme scored well against the Financial Times’ criteria for international diversity, academic excellence and aims achieved.

“Evolving our programmes to keep them fresh and relevant, and to ensure they deliver ongoing value to students and alumni is critical. We are delighted that today’s ranking demonstrates that we are delivering against that ambition. Recent initiatives have included a lifelong learning scheme piloted on a small group of alumni, a joint Capstone event in London for all four streams of the 2015 class, and a concurrent summer timetable to bring London January and September students together during class weekends”, said Julia Marsh, Executive Director, Leadership Programmes (Executive MBA, EMBA-Global & Sloan), London Business School.
