Executive MBA students from London Business School have travelled to South Africa to visit one of the continent's biggest ICT management providers.
They were given a unique glimpse of the 'Nerve Centre' of South African firm Integr8, which specialises in ICT solutions such as online security, disaster recovery and infrastructure management for blue chip companies.
The School has developed the visit as part of the EMBA programme curriculum as an example of a growth company that is operating in emerging markets.
London Business School's Stefan Thau, Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour, who led the trip, said: "We have identified Integr8 as a powerful example of a business that has progressed significantly and is extremely mindful about how to sustain this level of growth within emerging markets."
Integr8 joint CEO Robert Sussman said the inclusion of the company on the curriculum at London Business School was a "world class achievement".
"To have one of the top business-centred education institutions in the world recognise our standing in the market is in itself a major accomplishment. But, to have educators and experienced entrepreneurs use research on the company as part of their curriculum is truly a world class achievement," he said.
