Zandile grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, and obtained her Bachelors of Business Science (Finance and Accounting) from the University of Cape Town. Her career includes extensive experience in investment banking across sub-Saharan Africa with Standard Bank Group and J.P. Morgan. Most recently, she joined Africa’s first activist hedge fund where her responsibilities include identifying investment opportunities for presentation to the Investment Committee and working with investee companies to unlock value for all stakeholders.
Zandile chose to attend London Business School for the opportunity to enhance her general management skills, to grow her network in the incredible city of London and apply these new skills during the programme experiences such as LondonCAP and Global Business Experience (GBE). She also hopes to learn from an unbelievably diverse cohort, both in terms of nationality and work backgrounds.
Zandile is VP Finance/Treasurer for the Africa Business Club and VP Events for the SoWhat Project. She is actively involved in the Women’s Touch Rugby and Social Impact Clubs. Off-campus, she is exploring London’s incredible markets, street art, parks and restaurants while taking the advantage to travel across Europe.
