My greatest challenge when applying to business school was: Making sure that my academic, professional, and personal aspirations were perfectly aligned with the school and the degree’s objectives

About me: Born and raised in Aleppo, Syria, I moved to Paris in 2012 and have been living there since. I pursued a bachelor’s degree in business administration at ESSEC Business School, where I completed two academic exchanges in Singapore and Milan. During my studies, I undertook three internships, which confirmed my desire to pursue a career in consulting. After graduating from LBS, I would like to join a strategic consulting firm to build a solid set of skills that will help lead a lasting positive impact on companies and that will allow me to get into the luxury goods industry in the long-term. LBS and its network are helping me acquire the right tools to make these ambitions a reality and driving me to become an empowered woman in business. Despite the ongoing situation, the sense of community is stronger than ever, and I am very proud to be part of it. I am constantly learning about new cultures and meeting people from different nationalities and exceptional backgrounds. I am a member of the Women in Business and Consulting Clubs and am participating in the Impact Consulting Club autumn project. I enjoy volunteering and meeting new people.
