My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Preparing my application while studying GRE, writing my dissertation and working as a data analytic intern
About me: I was born and raised in China and studied Information Management and Information Systems at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Life for me means learning, experiencing and finally making some contribution to the world. Therefore, in my four years at university, I did all I could to expand the breadth of my life. Geographically speaking, I worked at a bank in New York, I volunteered to teach in kindergarten in Sri Lanka, I exchanged to Queen Mary University of London for one semester, and travelled to UAE and Turkey. The landscapes and cultures around the world often bring me new ways of thinking and meeting more people.
In terms of areas of expertise, I also completed internships in a variety of industries, including internet, technology, finance, healthcare and travel. It becomes clear to me that I love the diversity of life and want to come to a better platform to learn and explore. This is a big reason why I chose LBS. Life at LBS is just as I imagined it would be, meeting great students from all over the world, always having a variety of activities and never getting bored.
Three topics I can be approached about: Anything you want to know about the application process; moving to London; LBS Career Centre events
