My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Planning out all the components of the application well enough in advance to not get overwhelmed at the last minute while managing my other responsibilities

About me: I was born and raised in the Czech Republic but moved to Canada at 16 for three years before completing my undergraduate studies at Aberdeen University in Scotland. During this time, I completed a few internships in consulting and banking in Prague and Vienna. I also participated in multiple university clubs and co-founded the university consulting club. As I love languages, I spent the last year in Vienna, learning German and Russian. I chose LBS because of its unapologetically practical approach to business education. After completing a very theoretical degree, it is great to study a hands-on courses where I get to understand how business concepts work in practice while being a part of teams and groups strongly resembling those present in many workplaces. The community at LBS is extremely open, collaborative and goal focused, and I hope to stay a part of it for a long time. While I am still figuring out my future career options, consulting gave me a great perspective on my professional life, and I would like to pursue this line of work upon graduation. Apart from academic work, I love dogs and binge watching Netflix classics, and will never say no to a nice café (and food).

Three topics I can be approached about: Consulting; application tips and programme structure; clubs and societies (DACH Club, Consulting Club)
