My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: GMAT

About me: I was born and raised in Milan, Italy and pursued a Bachelors degree in International Relations and History at the London School of Economics. I began cultivating an interest in consulting and finance during this time, which pushed me to partake in student consulting initiatives and to seek internships in the financial services sector. Although these experiences gave me valuable insights into financial markets and corporate structures, I was left with some theory gaps. I therefore decided to apply to the MiM at LBS in order to gain a comprehensive foundation in management, while building a lasting and diverse network. After the MiM, I would like to pursue a career in management consulting.

My LBS experience so far has gone above and beyond my expectations and I am especially enjoying the people and the community. LBS clubs are an incredible opportunity to meet like-minded people from different programmes. I am currently involved in an Impact Consulting Project for a startup tackling food waste and I am also organising the Treks for the Retail & Luxury Goods Club. In addition, I am a member of the Women in Business, Consulting and Art in Business Clubs.

Three topics I can be approached about: Impact Consulting project; moving to London; applying to LBS with a non-business background
