Phenyo Tatenda Nnyepi, CFA (known as Titi) is from Botswana and graduated with a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Botswana in 2016. Since his graduation, Titi has worked as a fixed income analyst for the Bank of Botswana Pula Fund, Africa’s oldest sovereign wealth fund and founding member of the Santiago principles. In addition to being the first direct appointment to the investment team, he took part in the implementation of revised investment guidelines. Before joining LBS, he was appointed lead associate, overseeing the newly minted Asia-Pacific fixed income mandate.
Titi decided to enrol onto the MiF to broaden his skillset, to allow him to continue to work and advance in debt capital, publicly or privately. Titi wanted to join LBS as he believes London Business School graduates attract the attention of recruiters given the industry-leading education they receive, including the emphasis the programme places on developing both soft and practitioner skills. He feels that at LBS, students are encouraged to ask difficult questions and challenge the status quo. He looks forward to working with his peers to not only find answers to the many problems put before us, but also, and indeed more importantly, to ask the right questions.
